There are so many genres of photography, landscape, nature, sports, social documentary, fashion, wildlife, architectural, street photography, and portraiture come to mind, but this list is not exhaustive.

What is your favourite type of photography and why?

Top Answers
I reallly enjoy taking pictures of wildlife. I am lucky to live in a country area where I see so many different types of birds, including robins, finches, pheasants etc.
I also often see foxes and badgers wandering about so I always have my camera ready!
I really enjoy taking nature photos with a macro lens.
Definitely pictures of our pet budgies!
